I was able to have my mom (Kate) ride out to California with me so I wouldn't have to drive by myself (Brian was driving the big truck). She stayed for a few days and then had to go home. We took her to the train station, with a lot of help from google maps, and were able to say goodbye. It was hard knowing that I was going to be all alone in California. We had to say our farewells quickly since the train doesn't stop for long. I was sad to see her go, but I know I will see her soon. I love you mom. Thanks for coming with me. I'll miss you mucho!
